It's been quiet in BGS towers this week, obviously Pride at the weekend was a right laugh, while Rollo Kim managed to not only see a top band on Sunday but also lose to get properly inebriated with them as well on the saturday; check it out here...

The Flesh Happening

The prolific Juliet - how does she get everywhere?, she was also at Prism and doing her own stuff in london last night - was at the Ocean Rooms on Wednesday night, while I finally made it to the Sanctuary for, unfortunately, the last Prism.  If you missed the Prism nights, I'm sorry but you've only yourself to blame.

The first of our intrepid reviewers have been out and about and enjoying some fantastic bands last week.  Juliet was at the wonderfully titled Kiyomori while Rollo Kim was at the Engine Room for July's Please Make Sense.  Links for both are below as well as in our Reviews section:

*****Latest News******

I am now looking for literate music fans to do reviews for this site.  If you can write clearly and legibly and have a passion for live music, please drop me an email on reviews@brightongigscene.com.  In return for your high quality reviews I will cover the cost of your entry to the gig or event.

So, if you are planning on going to any events in the near future, drop me a line and you may be getting free entry to your favorite music soon.  All I need is 100-200 words giving my readers your thoughts on the gig.  You can be as honest as you like

Welcome to BrightonGigScene.com, the latest addition to the Brighton Music scene.

With the Internet revolutionising the music industry, BrightonGigScene.com provides the perfect medium for Bands and Artists to reach new audiences.  With a combined listings site, forum and blogging capability and dedicated sections for bands, musicions and artists to promote their music across the web.

Brightongigscene.com is focused on the burgeoning and exciting scene in Brighton.  By keeping our focus tight, we can provide a dedicated service to the music industry in Brighton and Sussex.   This site came about when I moved to Brighton, brought down to the seaside by my enthusiasm for music of all forms and the changes that the internet is bringing to the scene.  BrightonGigScene.com is the result of an idea I had to provide an easy mechanism for bands to promote music on the web, to allow fans to hear new music.

So come on in, if you're in a band register, create a profile and we'll help you gain audiences.  If you love music, just come on in and let us know of new exciting bands, venues you either love or hate and anything else you think other music lovers should know.  Any questions, click here
