Inertia
3 piece shameless, instrumental band from ' Sunny old Newhaven- on the sea' as they put it.
Their'
influences -Muse, At the Drive In (mars volta), Radiohead, Kill Kenada,
yourcodenameis:milo, bit of classical (emma shaplin), Mudvayne(ad),
Tool. Life & Pies. Something that draws you in.
This is clearly heard from their 'no singer as
yet' music, which i think is so nice to hear and watch live. They've clearly already got a supportive fan base, even after playing 3 gigs. Watching them live you can feel a kind of uncertainty from members of the crowd that are watching for the first time. I think this this is because everyone is so used to having all eyes on a frontman.
Instead we're listening to the drums, bass and guitar, and how musically they entwine nicely, taking you on little journeys, its clear they are fairly new to the scene, yet i feel there is something special in their music. Its diverse , its nice, its something different. Its from ' Sunny old Newhaven-on the sea'
And they're comming to Brighton.
'Hand Bag' is my favourite
song.
Have a listen , let em know what YOU think.
