About a year ago I realised that working in an office was not what I wanted.  I loved live music, of all forms.  There is nothing better than listening to a great band in a small venue, especially new, undiscovered bands.  Rock, Pop, Jazz, Latin, the Genre is irrellevent.

Then a friend moved to Brighton and told me all about the music scene down here, how varied and exciting it is.  How many great small bars and venues there are.  What fantastic people there are here.  So I came down, and he was not wrong.  But I found it difficult to find the bands I wanted to see, the listings sites were boring.  I had an idea, a new listings site, one that not only told you what is on each and every night, but one that also showcased Bands and Venues.  A listings site that allows bands to stream songs for prospective fans to listen, for Venues to highlight why they are so good and for fans to tell other fans what bands to listen to, what music to avoid and the venues where you really do NOT want to go to the loos.

Its about the music, the gigs and the fans.
